I’m Manisha, a travel enthusiast who has spent the last eight years traveling and exploring across the world for both work and pleasure. My incredible adventure into the world of cruise vacations began unexpectedly in 2017, when a group of friends invited me to join them on a cruise around the stunning Mediterranean.
With little reason to refuse such an attractive offer, I boarded what appeared to be a massive ‘boat.’ My first cruise journey was marked by memorable experiences. After a week on the ship, I disembarked with renewed enthusiasm for cruise vacations. I was mesmerized by the vast possibilities of cruise travel.
It wasn’t until about a year later, when I moved to Europe, that I fully fell in love with the world of cruising. This marked the start of many incredible voyages, with me traveling on over different ships, each one giving a new and unique adventure.
About Nautical Cheer: The Story of This Website’s Creation
During one of my cruise travels, I was traveling with three of my friends. They were completely new to cruising, and it was at this point that I learned that most of the material available online regarding cruising was, to say the least, inaccurate.
My friends had a lot of misconceptions about cruising destinations, where to eat, and what to do on and off the cruise. Later, I realized they had spent a lot of money they didn’t need to.
That is why Nautical Cheer was created: to provide you with the best possible advice and information on Cruise Restaurants, Excursions, Amenities, and other related topics, helping you save money and time while enhancing your cruise experience.

The goal of this website is to produce accurate and useful information that I was never able to discover online. I want to help other cruisers with expert advice and recommendations, so they can make well-informed decisions before cruising.
